One of the best Sushi Restaurants in Vienna, if not THE BEST

A tiny place, which serves some of the best sushi you will ever have.

Small sushi place that doesn't look like much at first glance. Spartan decor and only a few places to sit. The Sushi however is absolutely delicious. Each order is made freshly. You can actually watch them make it. There's free tea which compliments the Sushi very well. There's plenty of Sashimi on and in each peace of Sushi. Portions aren't small and come at a very fair price. I can highly recommend this place to Sushi fans in Vienna.

My favourite Japanese sushi restaurant. I can really recommend this place. I would say one of the best sushi in town. It is a very small restaurant. When you enter this restaurant, you feel like you are in Japan.

The man who speaks Chinese (seems to be Taiwanese) acted unfriendly to our visit and answered us with impolite attitude. I believe that the quality of the food is undoubted but unfortunately we weren't able to give it a try. Everything included the two chefs were fine, except for the former.

Very authentic Japanese sushi place. The owner speaks Japanese. Very small but also clean .The sushi is amazingly fresh and superbly prepared. I had the chirashi. The rice is Osaka style and the fish is simply amazing. This is for a quick bite, in and out. But perfect.

Authentic sushi like in Japan, amazing!

Everything said is true - I live in france at the moment and it’s been hard to find sushi in europe that isn’t ridiculously expensive, the prices here are very reasonable!! Love the quiet little atmosphere (very small inside).

Best sushi I ever had (and I had a lot)! The fish is amazingly fresh, it just melts into your mouth! I had the Kojiro Spezial plate with a bit of everything, just amazing!

Always ridiculously good

The sushi was absolutely tasty, I've never eaten somethimg like that before. The quantity is quite big and the price is appropriate, it is very very worthy!

One of the better sushi in Vienna. Owner and chefs seem Japanese (or at least speak it), which is always a good sign. The selection is small compared to Japan but the quality is good. The only minus is the seating, which basically does not exist. (Only baar stools on a counter facing the wall). Otherwise Great.

Not that many seats but pretty chill. Sushi is definitely one of the best in Vienna.

One of the best sushi places in Vienna, the fish is fresh and the sushi quality is quite good. However it's a really small restaurant. You're better off taking the sushi home or to a garden.

A smal restaurant for sushi made by the hands of a Master. The only bad side is that ti is small, very small. There can be only 5 People inside, after that it gets crowded. But if you are Lucky enough to get a seat, you are in for a treat...

The best sushi I have ever eaten in my whole life! REAL JAPANESE RESTAURANT, tiny and cosy as the ones you can find in Japan. It has been one of the most beautiful experiences in my life and I felt myself like in Japan for a little bit of time. ABSOLUTELY SUGGESTED!

Definitely the best sushi I've tried in Europe. Good, fresh and authentic for a good price. The place is small but with a nice atmosphere, Kojiro 2 has more tables and is just around the corner, with the same amazing quality.

Small sushi place, I saw a number of Japanese restaurants across Vienna under the same name so this place may be an small outlet of larger Kojiro for Naschmarkt. Reasonable price sushi, although most fish are from frozen, the overall quality is good.

Awesome little place, wish they opened later and I would get dinner here a lot!Sushi was fresh and they put wasabi and a bit of soy sauce in the pieces. I was impressed with the fish to rice ratio and the price. Overall great for a quick bite and even for a meal.Only downside is it can be crowded and take a while and very small place with little to sit.

Vienna's best sashimi! It was so fresh and tasty that I have been telling all my friends to come here. The place is very small and everything is prepared under your eyes. Perfect for lunch or an early dinner.

Nice sushi

It has become a classic Vienna delicacy. It is fresh, traditional and absolutely delicious. It has always been like this for more than 10 years. You cam try many sushi restaurants in Vienna but you will always come back to Kojiro.

Small and cozy Sushi place - like the sushi bars in Japan. Serves very good quality sushi and sashimi. They served generous fish pieces covering over the sushi rices with wasabi in between - just like in Japan or proper Japanese restaurants. Free self-service Japanese tea on the corner. This is not a place to linger long. Just eat and go, or for take-aways. Highly recommended.

I've been to many Sushi restaurants in Vienna (including Unkai) and I can safely say that Kojiro is the best. Not only is the fish of excellent quality, also the flair is as authentic as it can be.

Delicate sushi in Vienna. The place is really small, but very pleasant. Sushi Maguro - Mittel - the fish was like melting butter in your mouth.

Great sushi, in a similar class to what's in Japan. The salmon and tuna were both great with generously sized pieces of fish.

Ive personally been to Japan, therefore I can assure you, that the sushi quality here is extraordinary. The experience here is like dining in tsukiji market.

The best sushi & fried noodles I've ever had! We stumbled upon it by chance when exiting the Naschmarkt and were amazed by the large menu and delicous food.

An institution. You won't get sushi with better quality fish anywhere else in town (unless you're ready to splurge in fancy restaurants and spend 3x as much). It's quite busy during lunchtime so the waiting times are a little longer, but that's when the fish is at it's freshest, so it's totally worth it. Skip the miso soup and to straight for sashimi.
